I want a leather satchel in copper!
Lifestyle Support Guru here with some sad news – sometimes DESTINY doesn’t work in a positive way, even for me…
Having been looking for an old-style leather satchel for some time, I was really pleased to find one on Amazon which wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg or require a second mortgage. Oh, the joy of it!
Ordered Saturday, email this morning to say it would arrive today! What service, I thought.
Stayed in all day (even though I’d planned to do all sorts of things), limited my visits to the loo because the doorbell doesn’t work and I thought it might arrive while I was in there and I wouldn’t hear a knock on the front door. (Too much information?)
It arrived at 6.30 this evening, so I excitedly tore open the parcel… it was the wrong colour! I’d ordered Copper and they’d sent Ivory – can you imagine the Lifestyle Support Guru with an ivory leather bag?? It wouldn’t last a day before I’d spilled coffee or red wine on it! (Remember the post about the wedding and the white trousers??)
Rang Amazon but I can only return it for a refund, not a replacement.
I have been packing it up with sadness in my heart and wondering whether, in fact, I am destined not to have a leather satchel… SIGH…
So, once again, I can only urge you to BELIEVE IN DESTINY – even if it doesn’t always give you what you want. Sometimes DESTINY knows better than you what your bank account can or cannot support! Well, at least I’m now free to go to the loo. SIGH…
