Kindle WORKING!
Woo hoo – just call me Techie of the year! I’m not the most computer-literate person in the world, so still not clear why a neighbour round the corner asked me to help her set up her new Kindle, but off I trundled earlier, not expecting to work any miracles, but lo and behold! Not only did I manage to help her get it up and running wirelessly, but I also helped her to deregister (someone else had bought it for her from Amazon, so it was in the other person’s name) and get it registered under her own name. So proud of myself – anyone out there need any help with their computers? I now consider myself an expert, so I’m happy to help with any computer issues you may have – plugging, unplugging, power on, power off…
